My first tour to Mumbai. 🙂
My tour was planned as:
- 6th March – Delhi to Mumbai
- 11th March – Mumbai to Banglore
- 14th March – Banglore to Delhi
So it started with the plan to attend WordCamp Mumbai. WordCamp is a series of events started by WordPress team, where they invite some of the finest speakers from the host country to impart knowledge about the WordPress.
As WordPress is a growing community and most of the bloggers are starting their journey with WordPress hosted blogs so this was a nice opportunity to meet bloggers from the India.
Although I submitted my application as a speaker to talk about blogging and make money online, but they denied my application because they were primarily looking for WordPress experts only.
Because I am going to apply again. 😉
We met some of the best WordPress experts from the Indian community and learnt precious lessons from their own experience.
Sessions were planned as:
9:30 am – Registrations
10:10 am – Simple WordPress Troubleshooting
10:50 am – Better WordPress development with Vagrant
12:10 pm – Best Practices for WordPress Development
12:40 pm – DAY 1 LUNCH

4:00 pm – DAY 1 – TEA BREAK
4:20 pm – Goodbye to /wp-admin

The very first place we decided to visit was Gateway of India and Taj Hotel.
Later we decided to visit Marine Drive and Chowpatty.
This was a fun filled experience because I saw the sea first time in my life.. ha ha.. yeah..
